What makes the 501 Recovery Bag so great?
Other shops sell similar kits with some differences, such as different kit bags. The ARB bags are tough. Real tough. And, they are washable! They also have a few nice pockets to stow things like tire deflators/gauges, radios or whatever else will fit.

When you add up straps, a snatch block, d-rings and other gear, the bag gets pretty heavy. Why use a cheap bag not up to the task? It's worth spending extra for a bag that can take abuse and carry the weight. Besides, you don't your bag coming apart and dropping a snatch block on your foot, do you?

The bag also has reflective strips which are nice if you use your bag at night on the road or trail.
